"My husband and I recently moved to a retirement community from our family home where we lived for 45 years and raised our children for a lifetime. Needless to say moving was a huge task, both physical and emotional. Nicole and Danny and the entire team at Organized Haven quickly became family to us and handled every detail of our move with a precision and professionalism that I thought had disappeared in the modern age. It is thrilling to see the level of love and care that exists at Organized Haven. My husband has Alzheimer’s and a move was challenging, however, Organized Haven was absolutely amazing. We walked into our new home approximately 3 hours after we left truck loading at our home place and found a beautiful professionally space designed ready to live in home without a box to be unpacked, dishes in the cabinets, beds carefully made and ready for a good night’s rest and my husband quickly settled down on his favorite couch for a nap. We were welcomed home by a smiling team who cared about every detail and gently carried every treasure small or large to our final home. It takes precision and organization to accomplish this and we are so grateful and most of all it takes an extraordinary heart filled with love for others. I have been staring at the before/after pictures for the past hour and I cannot believe the amazing transformation from then until now. Nicole and her team (the "Dream Team") came to our rescue after my husband and I got married, blended households and were completely paralyzed by the amount of "stuff" we each had accumulated over the course of our lives.
When the Dream Team arrived, there wasn't a place in our nearly-5,000-square-foot house that wasn't cluttered by half-emptied moving boxes, plastic totes, piles of clothes, and lord only knows what else. It truly looked like a whole family of hoarders lived there. I honestly recall looking around our bedroom one morning and feeling a sense of despair. That's when I started Googling for professional organizers....and I was literally willing to go into debt to get help. Luckily, I found Nicole!
It took the Dream Team (5 workers) a series of 3 full days to pull everything out of every box, every CLOSET, every drawer and place it on sorting tables so that we could easily see and sort through what we wanted to keep, donate or trash. This was exactly what we needed to conceptualize what we needed to do. We ended up donating 15+ trailer loads of quality furniture, clothing, kitchen items, and toys to Goodwill, along with at least 2 trailer-loads that went straight to the landfill.
When the Dream Team left, we still had a huge mountain of items and clothing that came from my husband's closet to sort through, but the Dream Team pre-sorted everything in such a way that he was able to make decisions fairly easily.
Our organizational journey began in July 2017, and has continued until right now, November 26, 2017. The result is AMAZING. If you have a chance, check out our before/after pictures on Nicole's website. We still have some work to do, but overall, we finally have an organized home.
We NEVER could have done this without the help of the Dream Team. It was worth every penny. I only wish I would have known about these services sooner!
One more thing...if you're on the fence about using a professional organizer because of the cost, I promise you that it costs MUCH less than you think. Nicole is flexible on pricing and delivers more value than it costs. Although I was willing to go into debt to get help organizing, I didn't have to do that! Nicole provided exceptional value for the price.
"Being in our seventies, we were leery about making the move to an apartment in a senior retirement center. The task was overpowering. Organized by Nicole was recommended as a solution, and it was one of the best decisions we ever made to use their services. The team came to our house, evaluated the situation, and presented us with a plan to make the transition from our home of 46 years to a 2 bedroom apartment as worry-free as possible. "There is only one phrase that comes to mind when I think of Nicole Ramer and her company, Organized by Nicole, "Peace of Mind"!!!! My wife and I decided to move to a senior community in Lakeland and were totally freaked out at the thought of downsizing, decluttering and packing up and moving from our home of 30 years to a two bedroom apartment. Nicole helped with every aspect of the move from pre-planning, packing, moving and unpacking our household goods. The pre-packing was done the day before the move and by the end of the day of the move, we were in our new apartment, the furniture was in place, the bed made and all the essentials unpacked and placed where they needed to be. To say the wife and I felt useless is meant as a complement as Nicole and her team stepped in and took care of everything. "I moved to the Winter Haven area about 2 ½ years ago. I downsized from a large house to a condo and, shortly after the move, also lost my Mother. I am normally a very organized person, but found myself overwhelmed with tons of boxes of paperwork and items that I had not yet found the time or energy to unpack. I really needed help going through everything this time. I’m so glad I found Nicole. She is truly a lifesaver.
