TEAM LEADER NEEDED - ORGANIZER II, PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZER, OR SENIOR MOVE MANAGER®

Polk County / Central Florida Professional Organizer and Certified Senior Move Manager® hiring team leader to manage projects with a team of 3 or more Organizers and Organizing Assistants.
  • Training and development provided, with potential to lead to advanced level and pay rate:
    • Organizer II
    • Professional Organizer
    • Senior Move Manager®
  • Minimum starting rate of $17 per hour - commensurate with skills, qualifications, and experience​

Minimum Qualifications
  • High-school diploma or GED
  • Pass background screening
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • At least 2 years recent experience leading a team and 1 year experience working with seniors and organizing or downsizing homes - requires also the completion of all OBN training requirements within the first 90 days of employment
  • An existing expertise in decluttering, sorting, downsizing, organizing, and ability to make great use of space
  • An eye for design and an ability to decorate using client's existing items in their new/existing space
  • An ability to multi-task - listening to all happening around them, addressing situations as they arise, and directing 3 or more team members, overseeing movers, and assisting with packing & unpacking for a smoother and speedier move
  • A love for working for the senior demographic and handing their special and sometimes private items
  • Punctual, efficient, high-energy, great client service - confidence, eye-contact, professionalism, eloquence, patience, understanding
  • An understanding of how to disconnect and reconnect computer, WiFi, TV, speaker systems, etc.
  • A reliable vehicle
  • Already a great packer/unpacker a plus!

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist owner with leading team in working with clients to declutter, downsize, pack, unpack, or organize any space in a home or office, including garages, attics, and sheds
  • Carefully and efficiently wrap and pack household goods, personal belongings, etc. to prevent damage while moving (considering available space when downsizing)
  • Carefully and efficiently unpack items and set up at new location in an organized manner, prioritizing tasks as necessary
  • Prepare supplies prior to start of project and restock OBN trailer with supplies upon project completion
  • Complete different types of organizing projects:
    • home decluttering and/or organizing
    • office/paper decluttering and/or organizing
    • garage/shed/attic decluttering and/or organizing
    • senior downsizing - decluttering, space planning, household contents management & disbursement, online auction setup
    • senior move organizing - packing, unpacking & new home setup - kitchens, bedrooms, bathrooms, electronics, offices, etc.
    • home staging for resale - preparing home for listing - decluttering, decorating, rearranging furniture, depersonalizing, etc.

Dress Code
  • Business-casual:
    • blue jeans without tears, rips, or holes
    • solid blue shirt or polo (no t-shirt)… company branded shirt provided after first 90 days
    • comfortable closed-toed shoes (sneakers are okay)
​Other Important Information
  • Requires physical abilities of standing for long periods, bending, reaching, climbing step-ladders or stairs, lifting and moving boxes and small furniture items – lifting up to 30 pounds individually or 50 pounds with assistance
  • Must have reliable transportation – transportation may be provided to some locations, but may require travel within the Central Florida area (carpooling recommended when possible)
  • Must be reachable by phone, text, and email between 8 am and 8 pm Sunday – Saturday​
  • 90% of projects are within Polk County - Lakeland, Winter Haven, Haines City, Davenport, Bartow, Mulberry, Lake Wales, etc.
  • Flexible schedule - averaging 20 hours per week, plus or minus​
